Thanksgiving

As Life often does it travels fast and if you don't stop and look around you miss it before you know it. As another holiday season approaches it seems as if everyday theres a race to the finish and we lose sight of what is important. Thanksgiving is upon us and I think it is important to remember what Thanksgiving is all about.

As we all learned in our early days in school the first Thanksgiving was held in Plymouth in 1621, and the pilgrims gathered and had a feast. There are many conflicting reports of how and when the first thanksgiving occurred but thats the most widely known story. What is important especially in todays age of always on technology and entertainment, we lose sight of what the main idea of Thanksgiving is about and that is being thankful for what we have, and who we have. We are supposed to gather with our love ones and give thanks to God for what he has given us.

This Thanksgiving try to put aside the rest of the world and acknowledge  what God has given you, look around when you are sitting at the Thanksgiving table and enjoy His wonderful blessings. From your family to the food everything good ultimately comes from God and we owe Him Thanks for his blessings. So this Thanksgiving enjoy the whole moment and as always don't forget to Eat.Comer.Mangia!
