Francis Coppola Diamond Collection Black Label Claret

The Black Label Claret is fine wine to enjoy; it is a Cabernet Sauvignon that is a classic Bordeaux style blend with Petit Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc. The blend gives off an attractive body and character, with complex notes.

When we reviewed this wine we had five certain criteria’s, Color, Nose, Mouth feel, and flavor (taste). Our results were slightly varied but consistent overall.

Color: Deep Ruby Red

Nose: Hints of cherry, plum, fruit, chocolate

Mouth feel: Smooth, slight drying in the beginning, light/no tannins

Flavors: Vanilla, fruit, tobacco  

Recommendations

Enjoy this wine as a starter with appetizers with cheese, olives or with a main course of Beef or lamb.
